This vibrant event honors the legacy of the legendary writer and anthropologist with a day filled with books and marches, art displays, hands-on workshops, captivating storytelling, live music performances, and much more.
As part of the festivities, visitors can also experience the exhibition “Bitter Waters Sweet” by acclaimed artist Letitia Huckaby, on display at the center through February 8, 2025.
